    Health Access Program

    The Health Access Program helps its members, many of them seniors, handle their health-related concerns —everything from sorting out medical bills to finding a doctor. Every month, the program offers free community lectures, safe driving classes and seminars, as well as free and low-cost screenings.     Independent Gym Program

    Alta Bates Summit Medical Center offers independent gym programs at a discounted rate for seniors. Cost is $50 for three months. Call (510) 204-1788.

    Lifeline, the leading personal response service, ensures that prompt, caring help is available at the press of a button 24-hours a day, every day of the year. Plus, Lifeline with Reminders helps members manage their medications and maintain the peace of mind needed to remain active and vital in their own homes.     Senior Injury Prevention Project

    Alta Bates Summit Medical Center is a partner in the Senior Injury Prevention Project of Alameda County. We offer interactive presentations to seniors on injury prevention. Call (510) 869-6737.

    Tele-Care

    Provides daily (every day of the year) check-in phone calls to people who are homebound or isolated. To register, call (510) 204-4487 Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 11:30 am. You can also visit the Tele-Care web page for more information.
